Dear Classmates:

It was a glorious two days of AHS Class 58 mini-reunion in glittering Las Vegas. The biggest surprise was the attendance from Manila of Millie Tan, Brenda Baltazar and Perla Valdez. Our happiness in their arrival is beyond words.

Thank you to the following out-of-towners for attending: Cesar/Becky Cruz (Canada), Tony/Auring Paz (Seattle), Rene/Maria Ricafranca (Florida), Jun/Wilma Narvacan (Texas), Nelson/Betsy Reyes (North Carolina), Lita Eugenio (Maryland), Susan Harwood (Tennessee), and Weny/Sylvia Conti (Missouri).

From the Golden State: Brig/Letty Pascual (Brentwood), Julie Riggan (Victorville), Ed/Prescie Bustamante (Yorba Linda), Flor Godfrey (Turlock), Danny/Evelyn Lopez (San Juan Capistrano), Delicia Asimont and Harold Bowling (Healdsburg), and Edith Echiverri (San Gabriel).

And our hosts from Las Vegas, Nevada --- Remy Nicasio, Noni Sarmiento, Juanita Lerma and Victor/Anita Vitug. Thank you for coordinating everything in Las Vegas. Everything went like clock-work! Thank you, Victor, for picking-up the birthday cakes for our birthday boy, Noni.

A special thank you to the Bustamantes for inviting us to their lovely home and the delicious kakanins they prepared. Julie makes the best bibingka!

I have not recovered from all the late nights and the almost unending laughter and loving camaraderie. I am still suffering from lack of sleep and miles of walking but not to worry -- I am ready for the next reunion! Honolulu, Seattle or Yosemite? Other suggestions?

Will post pictures at our website as soon as possible. We wished everyone had come to the gathering. It was wonderful!

Until the next time, my love to all --- Betty
